Tyger, tyger burning bright
Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

And so begins The Tyger poem by William Blake. In many Asian cultures, we welcomed the year of the Water Tiger this month. Tigers have such a rep around the world, don't they?

It's said that a year that is influenced by the water element amplifies the characteristics of its corresponding Lunar calendar zodiac animal. So, 2022 is destined to be filled with strong spirit, health, and vitality since it's a tiger year! We got this, people.

I'm feeling that tiger vitality in the yoga courses I'm offering and with the cool courses my friends are leading, see below. And my little tiger roommate is doing great! Little Nabi kitty is the bestest and I'm so glad she's sharing her tiger-like energy covered in buckets of shedding cat fur with me. #partofthedeal #yearofthetiger

Also, I'm making these ridiculous, weekly, 1 minute videos of Korean Folk Tales featuring tigers. Here are the first two folktales, click each to peep:

You've probably heard how good meditation is for you. But there's a dirty little secret that's rarely talked about: meditation doesn't work if you don't actually do it! For most people it just seems too cumbersome, time-consuming, or esoteric to incorporate in their busy everyday lives.
